Our Life-Like Restoration Options

Whether you have just undergone root canal therapy, or are missing all of your teeth, Dr. Korn has a prosthetic to meet your needs.

Same-Day Crowns – To complete root canal therapy and restore the treated tooth, we use a porcelain crown. This restoration replicates the tooth and protects it from decay. Crowns are also used to repair teeth with minor breaks, chips, and cracks, as well as to restore severely decayed teeth. Implant-supported crowns can replace a single missing tooth. Our high-quality porcelain crowns can be crafted in one visit with CEREC®.

Bridges – When one or more teeth in a row are missing, a bridge is placed to fill in the gap. This restoration is secured with crowns that are attached to healthy, adjacent teeth. Implant-supported bridges can replace teeth and support the bridge, or for stimulating the jaw to prevent bone loss.

Dentures – Traditional or adhesive based dentures replace one or both full arches of missing teeth. Partial dentures clip on to remaining teeth for stability and are an excellent solution when several teeth are missing.

Implant-Supported Dentures are now the standard of care when replacing full arches of teeth because the biocompatible implant post acts as a replacement tooth root. When tooth roots are lost, they cease to provide vital stimulation to the underlying bone. This lack of stimuli leads to resorption, a process of rapid bone loss in the jaw. Resorption causes a sunken or prematurely aged facial appearance.
